I have no idea what that Duna bend is, as the inhabitants of Budapest call it. help? ;)(give a different answer) .
Duna, the Hungarian name of Danube, is said to have its most scenic stretch at the spot where Buda was divided long ago by Pesta. In fact, it's a narrow valley, lined with beautiful historic cities, most appreciated out of the 1,890 miles of coursewater from the Black Forest to the Black Sea. The most populat river-sided town is Szentendre, founded by the Serbs who managed to rescue themselves out of the Turkish invasion. An art hub since 1920, full with Orthodox churches.
