It's located within the beautiful City Park, behind Heroes Square, it's quite old fashioned in style but that's the charm after all and it cost only $7 to get in. All the usual animals were there, my particular favourite being the gorillas and the chimps with their nice antics. The zoo looks like it's cared for and the animals seem well treated. There is also a lovely cafe where you can eat and relax, as the park is quite large. So yes, I guess it is worth seeing it.
