The Rudas Baths, Budapest

Posted 1 year ago by avatar isaac in response to avatar claire's question: I'd like to to visit some Hungarian baths but I read bad reviews about some of them. What would you recommend? (give a different answer) .

Except of the odd-looking red marble in what claims to be a Turkish bath, I liked this place. There are some annoyances like no towels or sheets being offered, or the opening hours and fees being clearly posted in English at the entrance but not at the ticket counter. I specially enjoyed the steam room, which has a clear scent of chamomile. The entry fee is negligeable, just a few dollars.
